The program is in residence at the historic Faculty Club on the campus of the University of California, Berkeley. Accommodations are in the all-suite Residence Inn by Marriott in downtown Berkeley, about a 15-minute walk through campus to the Faculty Club.
“The coaching framework and feedback taught me to be a better coach, but the experiential stuff is what taught me to be a better, more alive, more interconnected human.”
UC Berkeley Faculty Club
Minor Ln, Berkeley, CA 94720
Originally designed by famous Berkeley architect, Bernard Maybeck, the Faculty Club was initially a one-room club house. Even before the dedication of the new club in September 1902, plans were underway for a western addition, also designed by Maybeck. Thus began the nontraditional evolution of a historic Berkeley landmark. As John Gilbert Paltridge noted in A History of the Faculty Club at Berkeley, the Club "is a dozen or more separate buildings constructed over a span of nearly one hundred years and simply nailed one to the other."
Berkeley Practicum
Candidates participate in three practicums during the Berkeley program. The first is an opportunity to coach local ECI graduates (and some who have traveled here for the opportunity). The second and third are at leading companies in the San Francisco Bay Area. Past companies have included Salesforce.com, Moody's Financial, Adobe.com, and Pixar.

“This exceeded my expectations. So much self exploration and movement into possibility, versus shoving ourselves into some corporate paradigm of what it means to be a coach.”
