Whether you wish to become a certified executive coach, or you seek to develop your own authentic leadership presence, we hope you will join us for our newest offering: online cohorts of our Executive Coaching certification program. The program builds upon our history of success: since 2009, we’ve hosted over 30 cohorts through our Executive Coaching Institute in locations including Berkeley, Thailand and Italy. Over the years, we’ve trained and certified hundreds of leaders and coaches globally. We’ve redesigned our program to take advantage of a virtual format, featuring small class sizes, lots of one-on-one practice and feedback, and an opportunity to build meaningful relationships and a community of practice with a diverse group of participants.

New for 2024
We are piloting a new option for the online program. We will offer two Modular programs, running Wednesdays - Fridays plus a 10th day the following week. Program days will have the same structure and curriculum as the 10-day intensive, but avoiding weekends.

Upon completion of program requirements, graduates receive a UC Berkeley certificate.

Sample Daily Schedule
Each day’s activities are thoughtfully paced between short lectures, group discussions, experiential activities, breakout coaching sessions and more - all designed to build coaching skills, transform leadership, and develop a community of trust.
Please note: Due to the intensive nature of the program, plan to be engaged in the synchronous Zoom program activities from 8 am – 2:30 pm Pacific time. In addition, you will be asked to hold time for your private 1:1 coaching and homework activities as follows. Your specific 1:1 coaching session schedule will be announced on Day 2 of the program.
Pacific / Mountain time zone: hold between 2:30 – 5:30 pm Pacific
Central / Eastern time zone: hold both 2:30 – 5:30 pm Pacific and 5:30 – 8:30 am Pacific to allow for maximum flexibility in assigning your 1:1 coach
Europe / Asia time zone: hold 5:30 – 8:30 am Pacific
Attendance is mandatory at all program sessions and at all days of the coaching practicum, unless an exception is approved in advance by the ECI faculty director. We highly recommend participants minimize work commitments during the program.
